The Westwood Urban Renewal project has a strong emphasis on community development through a wide range of strategies and projects.

Working together with the community to further enrich and develop strong community ties that can be driven by you as a member of the Westwood community family. Contact us today if you would like to tell others about the things you do in the community, let others know about your friends or neighbours that work towards a stronger community or just tell us your ideas. We hold a number of community events, produce a regular newsletter, conduct ongoing consultation on issues and surveys to find out how we can ensure that our community continues to prosper. 

Communicating with you, our community is what we want to do. Our regular Westwood Reporter community newsletter is dropped into your letterbox with lots of information about what's going on in the community, pre employment training programs and other activities. If you have news, let us know.

Westwood Economic

Over the life of the Westwood project we are working to ensure that members of our community have opportunities to assist them to return into the workforce or to build their business. Over 300 employment outcomes have been achieved as a result of this program and we continue to work on pre employment and business development programs for you.
